The school is seeking a committed and experienced professional to take on the role of a designated safeguarding lead. The school caters for children who for various of reasons cannot or do not attend mainstream school.Key Responsibilities
  • Manage safeguarding and child protection concerns
  • Assist staff with reporting and addressing child protection issues
  • Maintain accurate safeguarding records and ensure timely reporting in line with national guidance
  • Attend meetings for identified pupils and represent the school’s safeguarding views
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external professionals
  • Provide staff training and ensure updates from Keeping Children Safe in Education are effectively implemented
The Ideal Candidate:✔️ Passionate about supporting and safeguarding young people and children✔️ DSL trained.✔️Previous DSL experience.
✔️ DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
