- Deliver person-centred support tailored to each child's needs
- Encourage communication, independence, and emotional resilience
- Promote inclusion and positive behaviour in daily routines
- Work in partnership with families, schools, and multidisciplinary teams
- Follow care plans and contribute to ongoing assessments and reviews
- Support the principles of GIRFEC, ensuring the wellbeing indicators (SHANARRI) are central to care
- Experience supporting children with Autism and Learning Disabilities
- SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) or equivalent – or currently working towards it
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and GIRFEC principles
- Excellent communication, patience, and empathy
- Registered or eligible for registration with the SSSC
