This role is crucial for supporting the Atmospheric Research Aircraft (ARA) Mid-Life Upgrade (MLU) Project. The position is based in Prestwick with hybrid working arrangements of 2-3 days on-site per week.Key Responsibilities:
Support to the Atmospheric Research Aircraft (ARA) Mid-Life Upgrade (MLU) Project
Develop a range of aircraft modifications to facilitate ARA MLU
Liaise with third-party design organisations
Compile, check, and approve engineering drawings
Potential to take on the responsibility of a Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE) role, subject to CVE approval by Management
Job Requirements:
Extensive experience in electrical design standards and techniques
Experience as an Electrical Designer in the Defence sector
BAE146 / AVRO RJ experience is beneficial
Understanding of engineering principles within the Defence and Security industry
