Junior QA Automation Engineer

- Working with cross-functional squad leads and QA mentor to estimate, prioritise, plan and coordinate quality testing activities based on business requirements and criticality, as well as working collaboratively within the QA team.
- Develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality, using open source tools.
- Liaise with internal teams such as Developers and Product Managers to identify functional requirements.
- Attend squad ceremonies, squad stand ups, and refinement meetings, as well as getting involved in pair programming.
- Engaging with squads in creating acceptance criteria and aid in reviewing designs.
- Developing a deeper understanding of test plans and test cases.
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and strategies.
We’d really like to hear from you, if you have…
- Proven work experience within software development and software quality assurance, ideally within an Agile environment.
- 1+ years experience of software QA methodologies, tools and practices.
- Javascript coding experience.
- Hands-on experience with automation testing and tools such as: Webdriver IO, Cucumber , BDD, Saucelabs, Git.
- An understanding of test plans and test cases.
- Automation and test knowledge is extremely important.
