- Your role will involve constantly investigating new approaches and techniques to manufacturing and their potential application within the specialised Defence sector of MBDA.
- Experience with Industrial Validation of the internal and external supply chain in a manufacturing environment. Supporting the industrial validation process through the use of FMEA's, FAI's, and other methods
- You will be instrumental in driving change in the business, implementing manufacturing improvements using alternative approaches such as automation, robots and the adoption of VR.
- Being influential in the allocation of capital investment budgets and leading individual projects. You will be key in ensuring that the facility remains at the forefront of manufacturing and that competitive advantage is increased.
- Establish/implement necessary strategy for creating continuous improvement and be key in driving continuous improvement through your team to ensure MBDA increases its market share in an environment of ever increasing competition.
- Leading a team of Engineers providing direction to develop and motivate people. Ensuring the successful performance of your team through your leadership skills.
- Identification of requirements to ensure a successful transition from development to production including transfer of CCA builds from Manufacturing Stevenage to Bolton
- Support manufacturing architecture plans to operate lean principles, whilst also compiling business cases for process improvements/factory of the future concepts
- Support and champion the Non-Conformance Process
