• Be responsible for a caseload of more complex cases, providing insightful advice to fellow social workers.
• Support your colleagues by offering guidance to less experienced social workers, and supervise students, trainees, and support staff.
• Participate actively in planning and reviewing cases to ensure the best outcomes for service users.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with service users, their families, and carers.
• Promote independence and early intervention by providing sound advice and support.
• Liaise with colleagues across departments and external agencies to gather essential information for assessments and care planning.
• Maintain and update case notes and records to the highest ethical and quality standards.
• Generate high-quality reports and, when necessary, provide evidence in court settings.
• Work effectively in complex situations, evaluate practices, and contribute to capacity building within communities and organisations.
• Serve as a trusted knowledge source for peers, offering guidance and advice.

• Hold a professional qualification in Social Work with substantial experience in a relevant field.
• Possess deep knowledge of care assessment, planning, and an understanding of relevant legislation.
