This is what makes Konecranes a unique place to work.Job DescriptionWe are recruiting an Industrial Door Service Technician to join our field-based team in the southeast of the UK.The purpose of this role is to installation, service and maintain industrial doors and docking equipment.Your main responsibilities will include:
  • You will perform installation, preventative maintenance and repairs of Industrial Doors
  • Trouble- shooting equipment breakdowns.
  • Consult with customers on repair and safety related issues.
  • Complete appropriate documentation through your mobile device.
This role reports into the Operations Manager.QualificationsWe are looking for candidates who have the following skills and attributes:
  • Apprentice-trained/time-served/fitters mate route or equivalent (i.e., electrically NVQ level 3) in a maintenance or installation-related field
  • Basic electrical knowledge - essential
  • DHF or similar quailification is preferred, but not essential
  • Knowledge and/or experience of hydraulics - preferred but not essential
  • Experienced within the industrial door or related industry, such as traffic gates/barriers.
  • Ability to work at height
  • IT literate
  • UK driver's licence - essential
