Join as a Senior Employment Solicitor (in‑house) based in Birmingham, leading employment law across a growing national Financial Services legal team, reporting to the Head of Employment and working closely with internal stakeholders.The Senior Employment Solicitor will be:Leading high‑value and high‑profile employment matters nationally, providing proactive legal adviceDrafting, negotiating and overseeing settlement agreements and senior-level employment contractsAdvising on disciplinary, grievance, TUPE, redundancy and regulatory matters across the FS sectorPartnering with HR and senior stakeholders to shape employment policies and risk mitigation strategiesMentoring junior legal colleagues and contributing to best‑practice processes and trainingLead national employment law portfolio in FS industryHybrid Birmingham role with broad in‑house responsibilityThe Senior Employment Solicitor should be:A solicitor or equivalent with at least 8+ years PQE in employment law, with FS experience preferredSkilled in complex employment litigation avoidance, settlements, TUPE and restructuresComfortable advising senior internal stakeholders and liaising effectively with HR and compliance teamsAble to work autonomously and collaboratively within a national legal functionConfident in drafting policies and delivering training to non‑legal colleaguesThis opportunity is with a leading financial‑services organisation with a strong UK presence and expanding national footprint.
