This role involves working on cutting-edge submarine projects and contributing to national security initiatives, with hybrid arrangements allowing for flexibility and a 12-month duration. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work at either Barrow or Filton site, with limited occasional on-site requirements.Key Responsibilities:
  • Working on low voltage systems under 1000 volts
  • Designing and developing electrical power systems
  • Performing power system analysis and modelling
  • Utilising tools and software such as MS Office and possibly Matlab
  • Independently managing tasks and contributing to the project team
Job Requirements:
  • Experience as an electrical engineer in the Defence sector
  • Strong background in electrical power systems design and development
  • Proficiency with MS Office; Matlab experience is beneficial but not essential
  • Understanding of power system analysis and modelling
  • Ability to work independently and manage senior-level tasks
