Nestled in the beautiful High Peak, Watford House is a warm and welcoming 36-bed care home offering high-quality Residential, Dementia and Respite care. We pride ourselves on creating a supportive, homely environment where residents feel valued and cared for every day.We are now looking for an experienced and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our dedicated team.   • £12.94 per hour
  • 36 hours per week (day shifts)
  • Paid Breaks, Paid DBS, pension, uniform, onsite parking
  • 5.6 weeks’ annual leave (based on a full-time contract)
Your role:
As Senior Care Assistant, you will lead and support your care team to deliver person-centred care with kindness and professionalism. You will manage shift coordination, medication administration, and care documentation while ensuring residents’ dignity, independence and well-being are always prioritised.
  • What we are looking for:
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (Level 3 preferred or working towards it)
  • Practical medication training with up-to-date competencies
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • A compassionate, team-focused approach with a genuine passion for care
  • Confidence in documentation, care planning and supporting junior staff
