SITE SUPPPORT TECHNICIANAre you interested in Geotechnical ground investigation for construction? We have a great opportunity for a dedicated Site Support Technician to join our Infrastructure Division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.We are looking for a reliable, flexible and committed field technician to join our Geotechnical Team. As a member of Geotechnical, it is key that you are able to work efficiently as part of a team, as well as independently. While you may be performing the same array of tests day to day, the projects you undertake and the locations you are working from will constantly change, meaning no two days will be the same.The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):
  • Site and post fieldwork monitoring of borehole installations
  • Assist with surveying of exploratory hole locations
  • Assist with service identification and completion of the permit to dig process on site
  • Assist with site chores i.e. sampling, core preparation, photography for medium to large running sites
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
  • An ability to work independently or in a team to complete the required activities.
  • A good level of fitness to undertake the site duties
  • Good attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
