We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Activities Coordinator to join our team in providing compassionate, person-centered support for our service users at our Deneside Court home. You will play a vital role in ensuring our guests enjoy a wide range of stimulating activities while supporting their independence, well-being, and connection to the local community.Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize and lead engaging activities within the Home (e.g., arts & crafts, cooking, games, reading).
  • Plan and accompany guests on outings and social events.
  • Encourage the development of social, emotional, and life skills in line with individual care plans.
  • Support guests in achieving greater independence, including budgeting and communication.
  • Promote inclusion, safety, and respect for all guests’ preferences and rights.
  • Monitor and assess individual progress and contribute to care plans.
  • Maintain accurate records and report changes in guest well-being to senior staff.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and confidentiality policies.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Compassionate and patient approach to care
  • Experience in a care or support role (preferred)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team
  • Understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality, and risk management
