This is an exciting opportunity for a Legal Counsel based in Manchester/Leeds and is ideal for a motivated individual looking to make a significant impact in the media/marketing industry. The role requires a detail-oriented professional who can provide legal advice, support, and guidance to the company.Legal Counsel Key accountabilities:
  • Provide legal advice to stakeholders at various levels of the organisation on relevant subjects to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and the protection of the business' commercial interests.
  • Draft, negotiate and advise on commercial agreements.
  • Deliver legal support (templates, advice, risk management, subject matter knowledge) to accelerate and underpin the expansion of company strategy.
  • Provide legal support on various matters to commercial teams in contractual negotiations.
  • Assist in developing and delivering training and legal risk management initiatives to senior management in managing legal risks.
  • Help to implement best-practices in compliance, contracts management, intellectual property, data protection, IT, litigation, M&A.
  • Assist with delivering cost-effective handling of existing litigation and disputes to protect business' best interests, including timely and accurate reporting.
