- Support individuals with physical, sensory, or learning disabilities in educational and daily activities.
- Assist with personal care, mobility, and adaptive learning strategies as needed.
- Encourage independence, confidence, and social interaction.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to implement personalised support plans.
- Monitor progress, report observations, and contribute to reviews of care and education plans.
- Ensure all activities are conducted safely and in line with safeguarding policies.
- Experience supporting individuals with disabilities in school, care, or community settings.
- Empathetic, patient, and resilient approach to challenges.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and willingness to follow child protection procedures.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
