Role responsibilities
  • Non-Theatrical Screening Host Research: Generate a consistent weekly flow of new leads for screenings, targeting at least 100 new leads per week, to support the Sales and Festivals Manager with reaching key conversion goals
  • Film Festival Applications: Research, prepare, and submit applications for relevant festivals to maximise exposure and sales opportunities, under the guidance of the Sales and Festivals Manager.
  • Awards Applications: Identify eligible awards and prepare submissions to raise the profile of film titles, under the guidance of the Head of Sales and Acquisitions.
  • Sales Materials & Updates: Create and update sales slate decks, create key art, film webpages, manage the shop function on togetherfilms.org, Eventive, and Privio pages. Liaise with third parties for design tasks and trailers.
  • Screenings Delivery: Oversee the customer journey for all free screenings, from initial outreach through to request, confirmation, and final delivery, ensuring a smooth process and improving efficiencies where possible. Support automations (API) workflows to enhance delivery (with training). Support the Sales and Festivals Manager with deliveries on paid screenings during busy periods.
  • Marketing Communications: Draft and send newsletters, draft and schedule social media posts and blogs in line with company and slate strategy, and coordinate promotional materials to support sales activity.
  • Press: Prepare and send out press releases, cultivate relationships with industry and consumer press. Track UK and international press coverage and award nominations/wins, and provide press with updates to support festival runs, theatrical releases and awards campaigns.
  • Digital Catalogue Maintenance: Keep the digital film catalogue up-to-date with accurate and engaging content. Maintain up-to-date film pages and online content (including websites, news sections, and trailers).
  • Sales Support: Cover the screenings inbox when the Sales and Festivals Manager is on holiday or travelling for work.
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling, contract assistance, and keeping internal CRM and systems up to date.
  • Maintain central sales and marketing documents and logs as required.
Person specificationsEssential Skills
  • Strong research and lead-generation ability.
  • Clear, persuasive written and verbal communication.
  • Confident project and time management across multiple deadlines.
  • Social media scheduling and campaign delivery.
  • Email marketing and newsletter creation (segmentation, targeting, reporting).
  • Canva (or similar) for fast-turnaround design.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms (Zoho or similar)
  • Proficiency in digital delivery/event platforms (Eventive, Privio).
  • Meticulous organisation and attention to detail.
  • Collaborative, proactive approach in a small team.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience in film sales, distribution, festivals, or audience development.
  • Press/media handling, including drafting releases and tracking coverage.
  • Website/catalogue upkeep (WordPress, Squarespace, or equivalent).
  • Data analysis and reporting (Zoho Analytics, Google Analytics).
  • Adobe Creative Suite skills.
  • Familiarity with automation tools (Zapier, API workflows).
  • Experience with email outreach platforms (Klenty or similar)
  • Knowledge of awards submissions and international film markets.
  • Experience supporting contracts, trackers, or admin processes.
  • Passion for independent film and social impact campaigns.
