Background –You will be working for a small, highly team-orientated practice close to Taunton. The population is a pleasant one, offering a good mix with an increasing number of young families thanks to new build housing going up. Whilst not particularly affluent, there’s no notable deprivation either.
You’ll join a good sized team of GPs relating to the list size and enjoy a very manageable workload adhering closely to the BMA model.
Forever keen to attract new GPs to the area, Tier 2 visa sponsorship and an attractive relocation package are both available with both newly qualifying and established GPs encouraged to apply.Salary – £11,600-13,000 per session + Indemnity paid, NHS pension, electric car scheme, 6 weeks annual leave, 1 week study leaveLocation – Taunton areaThe surgery –

c7,000 patients
Rural setting with pleasant village population
Dispensing practice
Morning huddle first thing followed by 12pm coffee meet
Weekly MDT meeting to discuss safeguarding etc
Half day closure every month for protected CPD
CQC Good
Mentoring and support for newly qualified GPs
Offering genuine portfolio careers with special interests encouraged

Your role –

Salaried GP
4 or more sessions
12 patients per session
15-minute appointments
50/50 split of F2F/calls
Protected urgent admin task slots to ensure time is allocated for unforeseen issues
Very flexible start and finish times (can log on from home to complete admin after last patient)
Opportunities to take on additional responsibilities for a higher salary
