- Exceptional Teaching & Curriculum Delivery: Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons that encompass the full KS2 curriculum, utilising strong subject knowledge (including English and Maths) to ensure excellent progression for all pupils. You'll also make effective use of ICT to enhance learning.
- Differentiated Learning: Adapting teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of all learners, including those with Special Educational Needs or more able pupils, ensuring tasks are matched to ability for optimal progress.
- Dynamic Classroom Management: Creating a positive, well-ordered, and secure environment where students feel respected, motivated, and are encouraged to uphold high standards of behaviour. You'll implement consistent strategies for discipline and constructive feedback.
- Assessment & Tracking Progress: Meticulously assessing student learning, maintaining all required records, and working closely with school leaders to track individual progress and implement targeted interventions where needed.
- Collaboration & Communication: Building and maintaining positive relationships with parents, actively involving them in the learning process. You will participate actively in planning meetings, staff meetings, and contribute to the wider school ethos and policies.
- Professional Development: Engaging in continuous in-service training and contributing to the development of the school and its staff, including taking a lead role in classroom and designated whole-school displays.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.

- Expert Lesson Design & Delivery: Proven knowledge of the KS2 curriculum, coupled with the ability to design and deliver engaging, challenging lessons for diverse learning styles and abilities.

- Adaptability & Problem-Solving: A flexible and open approach to change, with the ability to adjust strategies in response to unexpected situations or student needs, remaining calm under pressure.
