Do you want a company that will support your development and help towards chartership?We are working with a leading and innovative player in the offsite construction space to recruit a Structural Engineer with a passion for modern construction methods. This urgent vacancy within the team and is a fantastic opportunity to join a company at the forefront of Light Gauge Steel Framing.As a Structural Engineer you will:
- Produce structural designs and calculations for LGSF systems across a range of residential and commercial projects
- Liaise with architects, clients, and internal teams to ensure structural solutions align with design and project objectives
- Review and check drawings for accuracy and compliance with industry standards
- Provide technical guidance and support across the engineering and project teams
- Carry out structural analysis using software and manual methods where necessary
- Attend project meetings and site visits as required
- Ensure designs meet relevant building codes, safety standards, and regulations
- Participate in R&D and continuous improvement of LGSF design methodologies
- 3+ years of structural engineering experience
- Background in hot-rolled steel welcome, provided you have the drive and curiosity to upskill in LGSF and MMC
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude
- Comfortable working across multiple live projects
