Solicitor – Construction Dispute Resolution (NQ–3 PQE) – GlasgowA leading law firm is seeking a talented and motivated Solicitor to join its specialist Construction Dispute Resolution team in Glasgow.The RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile and complex construction disputes across both private and public sectors. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload including adjudications, court actions (Sheriff Court and Court of Session), mediations, and arbitrations.Key Responsibilities
  • Handling contentious construction matters from instruction to resolution
  • Advising on issues under SBCC, NEC, and other standard form contracts
  • Representing clients in adjudications, arbitrations, and litigation
  • Liaising with counsel and expert witnesses
  • Supporting business development and client relationship management
  • Collaborating with colleagues across Commercial Real Estate and Dispute Resolution teams
Candidate Profile
  • Qualified Scottish solicitor (NQ–3 years’ PQE)
  • Experience in construction litigation or general commercial disputes with a strong interest in construction
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Proactive, client-focused, and commercially aware
  • Able to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines
  • A collaborative team player
