We're entering an exciting new chapter at Kettlethorpe High School! With a newly appointed SENDCO and a fresh grant to enhance our learning spaces, this is a unique opportunity to be part of a growing and ambitious team dedicated to making a real difference.We're looking for a dynamic and passionate Lead Learning Support Assistant to deliver high-quality 1:1 and small group support for students with SEND particularly those with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.What makes this role special?
  • Lead with Purpose: Shape and coordinate the support strategy for some of our most vulnerable learners.
  • Own the Timetable: Plan and manage the schedule to ensure impactful, targeted interventions.
  • Work Closely with Students: Deliver engaging sessions both in and out of the classroom, helping students thrive academically and emotionally.
  • Be Part of a Revamp: Help us reimagine our SEND spaces with new resources and environments that truly support inclusive learning.
What we're looking for:
  • A flexible, adaptable team player with a passion for supporting young people.
  • Someone confident in leading others and planning effective support.
  • Experience working with SEMH is a bonus$ûbut your commitment to inclusion and care is what matters most.
