Are you looking for a challenging and highly interesting role with an expanding global organisation?In this position you will play a key role in our Legal Team and act as the champion of all legal matters related to the Company's trading activities.How will I spend my time in this role?
  • Responsibility for the legal review of all contracts and agreements from the Trading Group;
  • Ownership of the external communication and liaison with external legal firms for all the Company's Trading related legal matters;
  • Ownership of the establishment and maintenance of the legal policy, framework and guidelines required to oversee and mitigate the legal risk in relation to the Company's trading business activities;
  • Responsibility for identifying the key legal risks the Company is facing in its Trading activities;
  • Ownership of conducting the legal review and preparing the legal opinion when legal disputes occur with external parties;
  • Responsibility for coaching and performance management of all staff and advisers associated with the Trading Group's legal matters;
  • Responsibility for the development and training of all staff and advisers associated with the Trading Group's legal matters.
What skills/experience do I need to be successful?
  • Experience in the UK or European energy sector;
  • A collaborative approach and strong relationship building skills.
