Create dashboards and metrics for presentation to multiple levels in the businessDistill large and complex data sets into business insight driving strategic developmentCommunicate clearly and effectively with all level of the business (internally and externally)Prepare, and when necessary present, the findings from analysis conducted by analysts within the Data & Applied Analytics team to ICON Management
- Enabling efficient resource forecasting via maintenance and evolution of FTE and cost algorithms to project future demand
- Continuously improving FTE demand forecast accuracy by assessing forecast data against actuals and HR availability data
- Manage evolution of forecasting methods, analytics, and reports to meet changing customer needs e.g. on scenario modelling
- Managing and operating R&D wide time tracking system
- Managing the service email inbox for R&D time tracking system including customer support and user access management
- Managing the WBS codes on which users can book hours in the time tracking system
- Enabling proper training of R&D user community
- Updating and evolving existing training materials to support resource management
- Oversee the concept and roll-out of new training materials
- Acting as primary point of contact for training related questions
- Ensuring data reliability and integrity
- Managing proper assignment of job roles and skills to internal and external staff to enable reconciliation of time tracking data with forecasted demand
- As needed, supporting data quality improvement initiatives
- Delivering fit-for-purpose business analytics and reports
- Be a trusted advisor for key stakeholders at various seniority levels
- Drive development of fit-for-purpose business analytics and reports tailored to customer needs
- Drive standard analytics to functional representatives and project teams
- 3 years of relevant experience in business analytics, performance/resource management, data science, project management or finance
- Academic degree in a scientific, business administration or IT/data science-related field
- Experience in clinical development, biopharma R&D or business data analysis within Pharma/CRO industry preferred
- Advanced PowerPoint & Excel skills – Experience with Planisware is a MUST
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify and explain complex problems to stakeholders of all levels across multiple functions
