Morson are looking to recruit electrician’s mates/cable pullers for our client in Govan.These are 9 month contracts with a strong likelihood of extensionRole description:A semi-skilled person responsible for supporting cable installation including cable reeve, cable supports and gland packing. Other ancillary responsibilities may include the cleanliness and care and protection of all areas of the ship including all fitted equipment. You must have electrical background for this role.Core duties:Electrical background
Cable containment
Cable installation and reeving
Chunking and supports
Cable packing systems
Upkeep of shipyard facilitiesShift patterns can vary:Standard - Locals: £17.01 PAYE Non locals: £25.06 PAYE (Umbrella rates also available)Nights - Locals: £22.69 PAYE Non locals: £30.69 PAYE (Umbrella rates also available)Full rate card available on requestNo less than 37 hours worked a weekOvertime available but not guaranteed33 days holiday inclusive of bank holidaysThese are immediate starts subject to security clearance.
