This role is key in ensuring that we work with Severn Trent Water in order to successfully achieve regulatory sampling and analysis each year to meet Environment Agency requirements.The role is based from the ALS Coventry laboratory and requires a large amount of driving using a fully equipped van to get to and from sampling locations. Once sampling is completed samples are required to be transported directly back to our ALS laboratory at Coventry.Work is undertaken to pre-defined runs that are part of a fixed annual sampling plan drawn up by ALS and submitted to STW and the EA. There is also a requirement to work at weekends in order to meet out of hours sampling targets which works out at circa 1 weekend day per month.Additionally, there is also a requirement to sample Sludge for HACCP and the Biosolids Assurance Scheme on a routine basis as per the defined sampling scheduleAbout the Position

Days per Week: Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 15:00 (start times may vary depending on work type and time of year), plus one weekend day per month.
