NRL is looking for a Contract Manager to join our team in Oldham on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.The role holder is accountable for the delivery of the contract and associated specifications for the Rochdale and Oldham Schools contract. The role is based at Newman RC School.What will you deliver?
  • Manage the delivery of the facilities services for the Oldham and Rochdale Schools account
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures and ensure that they are followed by all personnel involved on contract.
  • Work closely with the Client, Authority Representative and Schools to deliver an excellent service in support of their objectives.
  • Ensure Equans are meeting SLA's and KPI's consistently across all services provided.
  • Generate and foster an interdependent Health and Safety culture across all services.
  • Manage and understand all aspects of the Oldham and Rochdale profit and loss account and ensure services are delivered as efficiently as possible, taking into account the possibility of Equans group delivery wherever possible and financially viable.
  • Ensure that all risks relating to safety, health, environment and quality are effectively managed using risk assessments, PPE, training and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment for both employees and service users.
  • Own development of the H&S action plan, sustainability action plan, legal registers and risk registers and complete assigned actions in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all accidents and near misses are adequately recorded, investigated and appropriate action taken.
  • Produce internal and contractual Monthly and Annual Performance & Lifecycle Reports for review with clients.
Who are we looking for?
  • Excellent Customer skills with an ability to manage customer's expectations within the PFI framework.
  • Experience of managing TFM services delivery - both in-house and outsourced.
  • PC Literate and knowledge of MS Office applications, able to use Excel.
  • Budgetary management and control - management of WIP, Purchase Order management, debt and cash recovery.
  • Excellent motivation and influencing skills.
  • Good commercial awareness.
  • Sound understanding and experience of risk assessment / management.
  • Thorough knowledge and experience of Safety, Health, Environmental & Quality assurance systems
  • Good negotiation skills.
