The post holder will:On a daily basis support the work of the Occupational Health team and liaise with the Service Manager regarding progress and around any areas of difficulty or need.Provide the highest standard of clinical care, ensuring that all clinical standards are met and where necessary taking appropriate corrective action.To participate in relevant training, health education and induction programmes as required.To ensure Continuing Professional Development is achieved in line with NMC and revalidation guidelinesMaintain accurate, confidential clinical records in accordance with NMC standards and data protection regulations.Main duties of the jobConduct pre-placement assessments, vaccinations, and immunisations in line with current legislation and guidance.To carry out venepuncture on clients as per policy and procedure based on clinical judgementProvide expert advice and support to managers and employees on occupational health matters, including fitness for work, reasonable adjustments, and return to work plans.To assist with the development of evidence-based practice and organisation of the work of the department.To participate in the development of departmental and ABC Policies and procedures.To assist with the continued development and promotion of the serviceTo promote all aspects of Health, Safety and Welfare in all Occupational Health work undertakenAbout usAbout Alliance for Better Care CICAlliance for Better Care (ABC) is a GP Federation uniting 77 NHS GP member practices across 98 sites within 24 Primary Care Networks in Sussex and Surrey.
