Protocol Education are working with a school in Thornbury to recruit Learning Support Assistants to work with children across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 from September.The children who require support will have different learning disabilities, so it will be advantageous if you have experience of working with children with additional needs.What you’ll be doing:
  • Supporting children in any year group from Reception to Year 6
  • Working closely with the class teachers and SENDCo to deliver consistent support
  • Using various verbal and visual strategies to support the children in class
  • Helping to create a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment
What we’re looking for:
  • Candidates who are experienced in working with children in a primary school setting or SEN setting
