The school is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to provide tailored support to a pupil with additional learning needs.This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with one child, helping them thrive both academically and emotionally within a caring school environment.The Role:
- Providing 1:1 support for a pupil with special educational needs
- Assisting with learning activities and adapting resources as needed
- Supporting emotional regulation and building self-confidence
- Collaborating with class teachers, SENCO and external professionals
- Monitoring and recording progress in line with support plans
- Previous experience in a Teaching Assistant role, ideally supporting SEN pupils
- A calm, patient and nurturing approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to build strong, trusting relationships with children
- A valid DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through Supply Desk)
- Competitive hourly rate of £13.70 – £14.50
