Plus, working in Shrewsbury offers the charm of a historic market town with modern conveniences at your doorstep.What you will do:Undertake ongoing assessments and interventions with children and families to ensure the right services are accessed at the right time.Progress children’s plans, ensuring the voice of the child is integral to case planning.Visit and work with families as needed, assessing and reassessing the needs of children looked after by the local authority.Act as a Case Manager and co-ordinate appropriate review meetings.Serve as a Key Worker where a Children Looked After Plan is in operation.Provide and contribute to Child & Family Assessments.Develop methods for identifying and assessing children in need as per the Children’s Services Plan.Offer information and advice to assist children and families in resolving issues.Liaise with other agencies on behalf of service users, coordinating resources and arranging assistance.Carry out duties as authorised by senior management.Present evidence and reports to courts as required.
