This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented individual who thrives in a dynamic environment with a focus on quality, seasonality, and local sourcing.The Role:As Head Chef, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the kitchen, overseeing food preparation for the restaurant, café/retail outlets, and a diverse calendar of events. You’ll have the creative freedom to design menus that showcase the best of Kent’s local produce, working closely with trusted regional suppliers.Key Responsibilities:Leading and inspiring a dedicated kitchen teamDesigning and delivering innovative, seasonal menus across multiple outletsMaintaining excellent standards of food hygiene and health & safetyManaging kitchen budgets, GP targets, and stock controlSupporting the delivery of events, private functions, and high-volume service daysThe Ideal Candidate:Proven experience as Head Chef or Senior Sous in a similar multi-outlet or contract catering environmentPassionate about fresh, local, and sustainable ingredientsStrong leadership and team development skillsCalm under pressure with excellent organisational abilityComfortable managing both day-to-day service and larger scale eventsWhat’s On Offer:Competitive salary of £42,000 – £44,000A fantastic work-life balance (working 5 out of 7 days) -
