DescriptionJob Title: QTS English Teacher Location: Colne Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Start Date: September 2025 (New Academic Year)We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Colne for the new academic year, starting September 2025. The successful candidate will teach English Language and Literature across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping students develop their reading, writing, and analytical skills, while fostering a love for literature and creative expression.Key Responsibilities: * Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to support improvement
  • Inspire students to develop their literacy skills and a passion for reading and writing
  • Foster a positive learning environment that promotes confidence and self-expression
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities related to English, such as book clubs or writing competitions
Qualifications and Experience: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching English Language and Literature in a secondary school setting
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • A genuine passion for English and inspiring students to reach their full potential
