Seniority Level: Mid-levelStep into a hands-on electronics validation role with impact. You'll join a fast-moving prototyping environment, supporting the build, troubleshooting and refinement of advanced PCB-based systems used in motion and control technologies. This is a critical support role for prototype-to-production transition, ideal for an engineer ready to take ownership of processes and supplier-facing documentation.Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee pilot and prototype PCB builds, working closely with mechanical and electronics design teams
- Validate and troubleshoot electronics boards, resolving issues in production
- Create and maintain document packs for outsourced manufacturing suppliers
- Provide technical oversight on PCB layout and design packages
- Ensure production readiness through hands-on fault-finding and system-level validation
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to deliver reliable, manufacturable solutions
- Experience in prototype and development environments
- Strong hands-on skills in PCB fault finding, troubleshooting and validation
- Experience supporting suppliers and managing documentation for electronics manufacturing
- Background in system-level electronics validation
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
- Must have 3–6 years of experience in a relevant industry setting
- Experience in PCA (Printed Circuit Assembly) documentation and specification writing
- Ability to manage or oversee PCB layout tasks
- Experience working with external suppliers would be highly advantageous
