- Lead the end-to-end admissions process, ensuring timely and accurate application handling in line with institutional and partner university requirements.
- Review and approve applicant documentation to ensure compliance with academic criteria, English language standards, and visa eligibility.
- Ensure admissions compliance with UK legislation, including Home Office immigration rules and Office for Students (OfS) registration conditions.
- Maintain and manage the UCAS portal, ensuring data accuracy, timely decisions, and effective applicant communication.
- Develop and update admissions and compliance policies, ensuring procedures reflect current regulations and institutional standards.
- Act as the primary contact for partner universities on admissions and compliance matters, fostering smooth collaboration and information exchange.
- Produce and present reports on admissions trends, compliance metrics, and visa refusal rates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and escalate compliance risks, maintaining accurate and auditable records in line with data protection and audit standards.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience (essential).
- Additional qualifications or training in compliance, immigration, or higher education administration (desirable).
- Extensive experience in higher education admissions or compliance, with direct responsibility for managing UCAS applications and using the UCAS Admissions portal.
- Strong understanding of UK legislation and data practices, including GDPR and data management in an admissions context.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in processing applicant data and documentation.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and build effective relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
