Starting September 2025, this exciting opportunity will allow you to support children with ADHD and Autism in one of the city's largest and most well-regarded schools. About the Role As a SEND Teaching Assistant in Bristol, you will: • Provide 1:1 and small group support for children with ADHD, Autism, and other special educational needs. • Assist with engaging, inclusive lessons tailored to individual learning needs. • Support children in developing positive attitudes to learning and achieving their potential. • Encourage independence, resilience, and social interaction in line with the school's ethos of kindness, respect, and ambition. • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, and support staff in a diverse and welcoming school community. The Ideal Candidate We are looking for a Teaching Assistant in Bristol who: • Has experience supporting children with ADHD, Autism, or other SEND in a primary setting. • Is patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic about working with young learners. • Can adapt their approach to meet the needs of individual pupils. • Holds a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent experience).
