Salary: £140 to £160 per dayWe are currently seeking a Semi-Skilled Steel Fitter to join our growing team, specialising in the installation of balustrades and architectural metalwork on a variety of commercial and residential projects.About the Role:You will support our senior fitters and fabrication team in the installation of metal balustrades, handrails, staircases and bespoke architectural steelwork. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with practical site experience, good attention to detail and a positive attitude.Main Responsibilities:Assist with the installation of steel balustrades, handrails and architectural metalwork on-site.Use of hand tools and power tools for fitting and fixing components.Read and interpret basic drawings and instructions.Measure, mark and prepare materials for installation.Work safely and efficiently as part of a team.Maintain a clean and organised work area.Requirements:Previous experience in steel fitting/metalwork or construction (essential).Ability to use power tools and equipment safely.Basic understanding of site health & safety requirements.Ability to read simple engineering drawings (an advantage).Good communication and teamwork skills.CSCS card (preferred but not essential).Full UK driving licence (preferred).Benefits:Competitive hourly rateOvertime available
