The company offers a dynamic, professional environment with strong career development prospects for long-term hires.Position Overview:They are looking to appoint a Senior Mechanical Estimator who can hit the ground running, lead the tendering process, and work closely with project and operational teams to ensure competitive and accurate bids.Key Responsibilities:Full responsibility for mechanical tenders from £3m to £25mDetailed analysis of drawings, specifications, and employer requirementsPreparation of accurate take-offs and cost estimatesSupplier and subcontractor pricing analysis and negotiationValue engineering and alternative solution proposalsClose liaison with project managers, directors, and commercial teamsParticipation in mid and post-tender interviews and negotiationsSupport smooth handover to operations on successful tendersCandidate Requirements:Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator in the building services industryStrong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and design & build environmentsExperience working on high-value commercial and/or residential projectsAble to work independently and manage multiple tenders at onceExcellent commercial awareness, numeracy, and negotiation skillsStrong communication and stakeholder management abilitiesRelevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or Building ServicesContract Type & Benefits:Permanent position onlySalary up to £75,000, depending on skills and experience8am-5pm working hours, Monday to FridayOffice-based (no hybrid working)Pension (3% employer contribution after 3 months)Paid holiday entitlementSupportive team environment with access to prestigious, high-value projects
