National Account Manager - Meetings, Events and Groups

● Develop and maintain strong relationships across a wide range of existing and potential clients with the UK hotel and venue booking agency market
● Identify and secure new revenue opportunities within the meeting events and groups market through analysis of market data and database mining
● Collaborate with the wider sales and marketing team to create compelling proposals and presentations tailored to the needs of specific clients and enquiries
● Conduct regular client visits, meetings and presentations to showcase the various products available across the hotels
● Organise and execute familiarisation trips and site visits to bring the meetings events and group products to life in the eyes of the targeted buyers
● Attend industry events, trade shows and exhibitions to promote the Clermont Hotel Group and foster new business relationships
● Assist Key Account Directors with development, implementation, and execution of business development strategies
● Monitor and analyse key performance metrics, industry data and market trends whilst regularly and consistently reporting to key stakeholders
● Create, own, and execute strategic account development plans (ADP’s) aligned to the business and individual hotel sales strategies
● Work closely with M&E Director and their teams to identify new revenue opportunities and assist in conversion of enquiries across the managed accounts
● Support the overall Clermont Hotel Group meetings events and groups strategy
● Continuously identify new business opportunities within both potential new and existing account portfoli
● Have a deep understanding of how the clients are structured to drive activity through the points of influence across all levels
● Have a deep appreciation and understanding of domestic market trends
● Complete reporting on account performance with both a retrospective viewpoint and future projections
● Utilise Salesforce to enrich client specific data to build a deep understanding of the accounts, the opportunities that exist and to share key information with the hotelsWhat we look for● Proven experience in sales and account management, preferably within the hospitality industry
● Strong background within the UK and London meetings events and groups market
● Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
● A confident presenter, capable of capturing audience attention and imagination and bring their events to life
● Self-motivated, proactive and target orientated with the ability to work both independently and as part of team
● Time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple clients
● Strong understanding of customer needs and market dynamics
● Ability to absorb and understand market trends and data and implement activity to achieve set objectives
