Your expertise will directly support uptime, safety, and service excellence.Responsibilities:As a Shift Technician, you'll be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and fault diagnosis of mechanical and electrical systems within a data centre. This includes conducting planned preventative maintenance (PPM), responding to faults, supervising contractors, issuing permits, and ensuring all work complies with health and safety standards. You'll also monitor and interpret Building Management Systems (BMS) to maintain critical infrastructure performance and provide technical support and assessments as needed.Requirements:
  • Recognised qualification: Minimum City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) in electrical or mechanical engineering.
  • Experience: At least 3 years working in a commercial mechanical and electrical environment.
  • Security clearance: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a high level of security clearance.
  • Technical knowledge: Strong understanding of BMS, UPS systems, LV generators, HVAC, and control circuits.
  • Health & Safety: Proven experience working within a high safety culture, including use of risk assessments and method statements.
  • Driving licence: Must hold a valid, clean UK driving licence.
