Our client, a leading global insurance business is growing their commercial lines motor insurance pricing team. They are looking fo someone to join to oversee the creation of risk models that will aid the Underwriting and Technical team in meeting the business targets.What you'll be doingJoining an established and growing team, you’ll be responsible for driving innovation and sophistication in pricing by updating and developing technical risk and demand models for commercial motor products, developing pricing structures and strategies to achieve growth and profitability objectives, and overseeing the implementation of new tools to undertake improved analysis. You will also support the delivery of transformational changes to enhance their pricing capability, and enable our Pricing capabilities to become 'certified', provide training, direction and technical reviews to the team working with you, and define and implement the appropriate BAU pricing rhythm of activity within the team. Additionally, you will act as key owner of all things Motor within the Pricing team, including communication and collaboration with other teams such as the Account team, IT, Finance and Actuarial.What experience you'll need to apply

Experience as a Pricing Manager in commercial lines
Actuarial or CII professional qualifications
Strong statistical experience inc GLMs
Experience with analytics tools such as Radar, Emblem, SAS, R or Python
Nice to have – experience of Motor insurance products
Solid people management experience
