£12.00 PER HOURShifts / Hours: MONDAY TO FRIDAY 8AM-4PMJob Description:POSITION: ASSEMBLY OPERATIVELOCATION: CORBY, NN17 1PAYRATE: £12.00 PER HOURSHIFT PATTERN: 8AM – 5PM (Monday to Thursday), 8AM – 1PM (Friday)HOURS PER WEEK: 39 HOURS AS STANDARDQuest Employment of Corby are excited to now be actively seeking Assembly Operatives for a long-term assignment based in in the Bangrave Road area of Corby.Our client is a global leader in the production & testing of bespoke high-end electrical connectors and are trusted by a range of end users across a broad spectrum of integral services to provide a highly engineered and trustworthy solution to their needs.With plans to expand their current team, our client is looking to invest in training the right individuals to fulfil their clients demands and are seeking reliable employees who have great attention to detail.Within these roles you will spend most of your time working independently on various projects for a range of clients. You will have your own fully kitted out workstation and will be given time to develop your ability to work at a steady pace - the key to your success will be learning to read and work from drawings whilst producing consistently accurate components to a high standard.Full training is provided for these positions for the right candidate, and this is a long-term Temporary to Permanent role therefore we are seeking reliable, committed people who are keen to work for an excellent employer with a view to securing a permanent contract.To be considered for these positions ideally you will have experience of working within an electronics assembly setting although this is not essential.You must however have:
- A high level of dexterity
- Great attention to detail
- Good eyesight
- A steady hand
- A willingness to learn new skills.
- The ability to work on your own (after training)
- Ideally experience with soldering or loom assembly (not essential)
