Job Description:Job Title Controls Testing & Assurance, Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) Quality Assurance, Subject Matter Expert (SME)Location LondonCorporate Title Vice PresidentControls Testing & Assurance (CT&A) has the responsibility for providing assurance (via Testing and Compliance & AFC monitoring activities) to the Management Board, Global Head of Compliance, Global Head of Anti-Financial Crime and relevant stakeholders about the design and operating effectiveness of the Deutsche Bank Compliance and AFC Control Framework. As part of the CT&A Quality Assurance Team, you will be responsible for undertaking risk-focused and sample-based Quality Assurance (QA) to determine whether key AFC processes in respect of Know Your Client (KYC), Transaction Monitoring, Transaction Filtering and Client Name Screening (or as amended from time to time) operate effectively and adhere to requirements of applicable AFC Policies and Obligations.What we’ll offer youA healthy, engaged and well-supported workforce are better equipped to do their best work and, more importantly, enjoy their lives inside and outside the workplace. Your key responsibilities
  • Supporting the Head of AFC QA in the design and execution of the global AFC QA programme.
  • Oversee the execution of AFC QA activities across global teams, ensuring alignment with global standards and requirements.
  • Liaising with internal and external auditors (including regulator-appointed monitors) on QA programme matters.
  • Analysing QA results, identified root causes, and implemented action plans and prepare insightful management information reports for senior stakeholders, the Group AML Officer and the Management Board.
  • Managing the governance and maintenance of the QA framework, coordinating with regional Heads of AFC QA.
  • Building and maintaining collaborative relationships with relevant control owners (1LoD and 2LoD), Business Line AFC, Divisional Control Officers, and 1LoD QA functions.
Your skills and experience
  • Demonstrable expertise in financial crime risk management, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Sanctions, and Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC).
  • Proven experience in KYC, Transaction Monitoring, and Sanctions Screening.
  • Strong understanding of Quality Assurance methodologies and the ability to assess the operating effectiveness of controls.
  • Excellent knowledge of products and services across Corporate, Investment, and Private Banking.
  • Results-driven with strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality outputs under tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce clear, concise reports and presentations.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
