- Leadership qualification
- Experienced midwife with significant experience in clinical midwifery across all settings
- Can demonstrate vision and knowledge of mental health agendas including any relevant National and local guidance
- Knowledge and experience of safeguarding children and vulnerable adults including Early Help.
- Knowledge of perinatal mental health issues
- To develop and be responsible for the agreed care pathways for perinatal mental Health
- Development and monitoring of complex care plans with women with perinatal mental health issues
- Ability to act as a lead resource with expert knowledge of this speciality.
- Able to demonstrate knowledge and experience of multiagency/ multidisciplinary working
- Knowledge of the key Maternity drivers influencing change and service improvement
- Evidence of participation in service development projects.
- Able to demonstrate evidence of implementation of continuous improvement within the maternity service
- Ability to promote a positive and inclusive culture within teams
- Able to demonstrate an up to knowledge of local services available to women with mental heath issues.
- Requirement to manage own workload, work flexibly and prioritise.
- Work as a team member
- Ability to work autonomously and use own initiative
- Excellent communication and presentation skills including written, verbal and IT skills
- Good knowledge of IT systems, Including, word, Excel, power point etc
- Previous evidence of audit.
- Ability to develop, update and evaluate relevant guidelines
- Evidence of excellent report writing skills
- Ability to work well under pressure with experience of meeting deadlines
