- Leading a cross-functional engineering team with a mix of skills and levels including front-end, back-end, mobile, full-stack, data, and quality automation engineers.
- Direct people management for 6-10 engineers.
- Mentoring, coaching, and growing your team for success.
- Collaboration with product managers and designers from your own team and across Mews.
- Delivery planning and roadmap execution.
- Maintaining and improving the quality levels of the product.
- Challenging the status quo and constantly improving team and delivery processes.
- 5+ years' experience as an Engineering Manager leading multi-disciplinary teams.
- Experience working with geographically distributed teams in a hybrid environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- A sense of ownership of your team, product and delivery.
- Extensive Agile experience with different methodologies and tools such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and Shape-up.
- Knowledge of Agile project management tools such as Jira, Confluence.
- Excellent understanding of software development lifecycles, from concept and delivery through to support and maintenance.
- Experience working with cloud providers.
- Experience building and maintaining a SaaS product is a plus.
- Experience working in a rapidly changing environment or scale-up is a plus.
