- Ensure the school environment is safe, clean, and welcoming for all.
- Maintain high standards in Health & Safety across the school site.
- Organise and maintain all site-related records and documentation.
- Manage and coordinate external contractors and maintenance visits.
- Be a flexible, proactive team member, supporting the smooth running of the school.
- Communicate positively with staff, pupils, and external partners.
- Security of the school buildings and site, including response to out-of-hours alarm callouts.
- Operation and maintenance of heating, lighting, and water systems.
- Undertaking minor repairs and general day-to-day maintenance.
- Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety requirements and checks.
- Supporting school lettings, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Cleaning designated areas to maintain hygiene standards.
- Proven experience in facilities or site management, particularly within an educational setting (desirable).
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety procedures and legislation.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- A positive and flexible approach to working as part of a school community.
- A practical and hands-on individual who takes pride in their work.
