- Demonstrable experience in running statutory and planned maintenance programmes to time and budget
- Experience of working in a complex and multi-disciplinary environment
- Experience of managing a multi-skilled workforce to enable maximum efficiency
- Demonstrable experience of dealing with M & E critical incidents to resolution
- Experience of implementing and working with a CAFM system to implement planned schedules of work
- Ability to set and monitor budgets and work with contractors to deliver value for money
- Integrity and professionalism, demonstrating a commitment to ethical standards, confidentiality, and the University’s values of inclusivity, trust, sustainability and aspiration
- Electrical / Mechanical qualification to minimum NVQ Level 3 / time served equivalent
- IOSH / NEBOSH Qualification
