Our client is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join their vibrant team in Andover on a temporary basis. If you thrive in fast-paced settings and enjoy hands-on work, we want to hear from you!Role Overview:As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
  • Picking and packing orders from stock with precision and care.
  • Replenishing inventory levels on shelves and racking to keep our operations running smoothly.
  • Ensuring all goods are stored safely and securely while complying with health and safety regulations.
  • Accurately recording incoming stock to maintain correct totals and inventory levels.
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work area to foster a productive environment.
  • Operating warehouse equipment, such as pallet trucks and forklifts, when qualified.
  • Assisting with various warehouse duties as needed, contributing to our team spirit.
  • Booking stock and deliveries using our warehouse computer system once trained.
  • Managing outgoing orders and parcels through the required portals.
  • Helping with line feeding replenishment of stock to keep everything in order.
Key Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Good numerical and literacy skills for accurate record-keeping.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to high standards in your work.
  • A valid forklift licence is desirable but not essential.
  • Must be computer literate to navigate our systems efficiently.
