As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils both in and out of the classroom, working closely with teaching staff and therapists to deliver high-quality, tailored education and care.If you are interested in this role, APPLY NOWKey Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support tailored to individual pupil needs
  • Help implement Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
  • Support pupils' learning, communication, and personal development
  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
  • Assist with personal care and mobility support if required
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to planning and reviews
The Ideal Candidate Will:
  • Be compassionate, resilient, and empathetic
  • Have experience working with children or young people with SEN (preferred but not essential)
  • Be an excellent team player with strong communication skills
  • Have a flexible and proactive approach to supporting pupils' needs
  • Hold or be willing to work towards a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
