- Prepare monthly management accounts and perform a review with the Financial Controller - in accordance with the agreed timetable.
- This opportunity will incorporate a full range of core Management Accounting responsibilities across a range of Projects
- Process inter-company transactions as instructed.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations in line with company procedures.
- Review the payments and bank instructions for approval and manage the payments.
- Review and approve annual Benefit-in-Kind returns, dispensation claims and the pension contribution batch.
- Prepare the corporation tax payments calculation, recommend payment for approval, then manage the payment.
- Review and approve the VAT, PAYE, NI, CT61 and R185 returns ahead of processing.
- Prepare the treasury investment proposal for approval and manage the deposit transfer
- Undertake the review and approval of the monthly bank reconciliations.
- Review and approve the payroll and pension contribution batch.
- Manage all enquiries from HMRC regards the group's corporate businesses, and ensure compliance with PAYE & NI regulations.
- Review and approve sales invoices ahead of distribution to clients.
- Manage the statutory audit process for group's corporate businesses, liaising with the auditors and compiling the statutory audit working papers for submission.
- Prepare the draft annual statutory accounts of group's corporate businesses for review and approval
- A professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or ACA).
- Proven experience in financial reporting and analysis
- Good Technical Accounting knowledge
- Strong knowledge of accounting software and tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
