Salary: Competitive + benefits + company van Join Our TeamWe are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Wireman/Fitter to join our growing team, working across substations primarily within the NGED (National Grid Electricity Distribution) region.In this role, you'll contribute to the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of key electrical infrastructure. If you have a strong background in electrical work and a passion for working on essential infrastructure projects, we'd love to hear from you. Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out wiring, fitting, and earthing work on NGED substationsFollow all safety procedures, policies, and work instructions on-siteUndertake training to obtain PTW (Permit to Work) and LOA (Limitation of Access) authorisationsMaintain accurate documentation and work recordsCollaborate with colleagues and contractors to ensure timely and safe project delivery RequirementsProven experience as a Wireman or Fitter, ideally in substations or similar environmentsStrong knowledge of electrical wiring and earthing systemsComfortable working at heights and in confined spacesStrong communication and teamwork skillsFlexible and adaptable to changing priorities and site conditions Desirable QualificationsCity & Guilds 2360 or equivalent electrical qualificationSSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme)IPAF (Powered Access) CertificationTelehandler Operator TrainingFirst Aid at Work Certification What We OfferCompetitive salary and benefitsCompany vanOngoing training and developmentSupportive, safety-driven team environmentOpportunities for career progressionReady to make an impact?
