Our client a leading national developer are looking for an experienced quantity surveyor to join their commercial teamABOUT THE COMPANYMy client have been established as a housebuilder for over 60 years and currently have regional office bases throughout the UK. They are recognised as the highest quality major national housebuilder, having been awarded an exclusive '5 Star Housebuilder Award' by the Homebuilders Federation. Projects to date range vastly in terms of specification and construction technique dependant on the location of the regional office. Major projects include multi-unit RC frame structures in Central London as well as town and village regeneration and low rise traditional build housing.ABOUT THE ROLEAs Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing all aspects of the commercial and cost management of our residential developments-from pre-construction through to final account. You'll work closely with site teams, subcontractors, and the wider commercial department to ensure developments are delivered on budget, on time, and to the highest quality.Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and manage accurate cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents
Procure subcontractors and manage payments, variations, and valuations
Monitor project progress and report on financial performance
Support value engineering and cost control processes
Maintain excellent relationships with suppliers and key stakeholders

REQUIREMENTS

Must have a minimum of 5 years Quantity Surveying experience
Quantity surveying/commercial management qualification
Experience working for a residential developer
Must have residential build experience
Must be able to demonstrate job loyalty
